Refund policy
RETURNS & EXCHANGE
We do not allow refunds but we do offer online store credit of equal value as long as you request swap of your item within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- Start your exchange by emailing hello@velvetbones.com with your order number and reason for exchange.
- Once we receive your item(s), we will email you your online store credit. Please allow 3-5 business days for your credit to be processed after we receive your merchandise.
SHIP YOUR ITEM BACK TO US
- Start your return process by emailing hello@velvetbones.com for approval
- The shipping cost, $8.00 (US ORDERS) and $18,00 (INTERNATIONAL ORDERS) for any number of items, will be deducted from your online store credit.
- Once we receive your item(s), we will email you an online store credit in the same amount of the original priced item(s). Please allow 3-5 business days for your store credit to be emailed to you after we receive the merchandise.
U.S. CUSTOMER EXCHANGE
Velvet Bones gladly accepts exchange of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased from our online store or showroom within 30 days of the original purchase date. Exchanges for purchases made with cash must be accompanied by the original receipt. Exchanges for gifted items must be accompanied by gift receipt. Store credit will be given in the form of an online store credit. Please note that if the merchandise has been altered in any way, exchange policy is null and void.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER EXCHANGE
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your international online purchase, email: hello@velvetbones.com within 45 days of the original purchase to initiate an exchange Merchandise Authorization. If you choose to exchange an item, you will be responsible for any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Please note that you will still be responsible for any shipping charges.

How long does it take to process the store credit?
Once we receive your item, you can expect to receive your store credit in 3-5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation and store credit when complete.
How do I request a return label?
Email hello@velvetbones.com please note that the shipping fee will be deducted from your store credit.
